Dear Parents,
It was great that so many of you were able to attend the worship service for Prekindergarten Sunday. The children did a wonderful job singing and we were happy to show off "our children."
Spring is officially here! We made it through the snow/sleet/ice storms. We have lots of fun and learning activities planned for the month of April. Here is our schedule for the month.
April 1 -3--We will have a special "E" show and tell. Watch for a special note attached to a lunch bag that holds a plastic Easter egg. The first four bags will go home today, the rest will be sent on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday we will introduce the letter Q. The children will hear the Bible story of Queen Esther and make their class quilt. Friday, April 4, the four-year-old teachers will have conferences. There will be no school for the children.
April 8 - 10-There will be no new letter and no show and tell.
We will be making lots of Easter projects, and our Easter egg hunts and parties will be on Thursday with dismissal at 11:00.
April 15 - 17-Easter Break
April 22 - 25-We will introduce the letter U. Wednesday we will visit Trevvett Elementary School. Friday, Mrs. Hurt's husband, Randall Hurt, will bring a Henrico County school bus to visit. The children will have the opportunity to sit on the bus and learn some safety rules.
April 29 - May 1-We will introduce the letter Z. We will sing a song, do an art project and hear the Bible story of Zacchaeus
Thanks again for such adorable children. Happy Spring!
The Four-Year-Old Teachers,
Marilyn, Cindy, Caron and Laurie
